Thanks to all those who participated in the Great Drift II on Saturday April 14th. We appreciate all who made this great event possible by their hard work and dedication.  Even with the small craft advisory and a change to the paddle route, we had over 60 paddlers! One group of brave Drifters were the ladies of Chicks On Kayaks who put in down stream from Schwartz Park and paddled the original route to the River Shack. After the paddle, we held the after party and member gathering at the River Shack where door prizes and a membership drive were held. We discussed the Rivers of Alabama Day and a few interesting facts about our Watershed and the river ecosystem throughout Alabama.
